Recently recognised with the prestigious Lord Mayor’s Small Business Award, Small Scholars enhances the National Kindergarten Curriculum with award-winning Pre-Kindergarten and School Readiness programs.
About Small Scholars
Established in 2022 by primary school teacher Amie Sewell, Small Scholars is dedicated to helping families make informed decisions about school readiness. To ensure each child is prepared and confident, they assess individual development rather than age alone, creating a holistic learning journey that builds both skills and excitement for school.
What to expect
Each child has a personalized learning portfolio, documenting progress and celebrating achievements. Twice a year, Small Scholars provides feedback to parents on their child’s readiness for the next steps, helping families decide if a child is ready for formal schooling or could benefit from additional preparation.
With small class sizes, two qualified teachers per class, and a play-based environment featuring weekly storybook themes, Small Scholars immerses children in both creative and traditional learning experiences that build a strong foundation for education. Their January holiday programs offer additional preparation, making the transition to school seamless and enjoyable.
Secure your child’s place for 2025 at Small Scholars and invest in a strong educational start. Spaces are limited and filling quickly! Visit their website for more details or complete a new student enquiry form for your preferred class and program e.g. Preschool Readiness, School Readiness or Holiday Programs.
