Science Experiments with Bi-Carb
Brisbane Kids will love this easy bi-carb activity. Create a cauldron of fizzing potions with only 3 simple ingredients. Let your Brisbane Kid become a wizard, a witch or a mad professor!!
You Will Need:
- Bicarbonate Soda
- White Vinegar
- Food Colouring (optional)
How to Make Fizzing Potions:
Step 1
To create coloured potions, add a small drop of food colouring into the bottom of a cup. Next, add the white vinegar, filling to half-way up the cup.
Step 2
Using fingers or a spoon, sprinkle in the bicarbonate soda and watch the fizz, pop, bubble of potion magic.
Step 3
Continue adding bicarb until the fizzing ends.
WARNING: Do not leave children unattended whilst experimenting with bi-carb and vinegar. Incorrect usage of vinegar can be harmful. Seek medical attention immediately if vinegar enters the eyes or is consumed.
