With a deck that boasts the “only direct view of the sunset along the whole of the Australian Eastern Seaboard” and a fantastic kids play area, this is one reasonably priced cafe that is worth a visit.
What’s On The Menu?
For the Kids
The Belvedere has a fantastic set of menus which provide breakfast, lunch and dinner options for the whole family. A small, but delicious kids menu, with all meals capped at $8.50, provides kids with favourites like spaghetti bolognese, fish and nuggets but also offers pizza, mini steaks and cheeseburgers as well. All meals, except for the pasta, come with a salad and chips. Kids will also have the choice of milkshakes and spider ice cream soft drinks (if allowed by mum and dad!).
Allergy Free Options
The child-friendly restaurant offers many gluten free options as well as some things, like the child’s mini steak, that can be made gluten free upon modification.
Kids Play Options
Children will love the outdoor playground which consists of climbing areas with slides and parents will love the fact that it is fenced in and shaded as well. Located central to the tables it makes it easy for parents to enjoy their meal while the kids play safely nearby.
For those kids who love to draw (are there any that don’t?) the Kids Chalk Zone, which has A3 sized portable chalkboards, is sure to be a hit as are the kids drawing packs that are available.
For slightly older children the indoor Arcades Room will probably be where they will spend most of their time (and money?).
Other Child-Friendly Services Provided
The Belvedere continues caters well for its family patrons with highchairs, pram parking space and baby change areas provided.
