Get ready to be amazed as Cirque Du Soleil performs Toruk – The First Flight for the first time in Queensland. Toruk – The First Flight is the amazing result of a collaboration between Cirque Du Soleil and James Cameron as they bring the world of Pandora to life in a show based on the popular movie Avatar. Toruk – The First Flight is the first show by Cirque Du Soleil based on a movie after they have had shows based on more traditional form of circus with clowns and acrobatics  and shows  such as Ka, The Beatles Love, O and Michael Jackson One.

Toruk – The First Flight, as you can imagine when you combine the talents of Cirque Du Soleil and James Cameron, is a visually stunning performance.  The set is a breathtaking backdrop that has the audience believing they are truly in the world of Pandora and enables everyone in the room to experience a storytelling odyssey through a new world of imagination, discovery, and possibility.

The show is narrated by Na’vi Storyteller and tells a mythical tale with unforgettable characters set thousands of years before the events that took place ion the Avatar movie and before Pandora was discovered by humans.

Cirque’s Toruk – The First Flight will not disappoint.  Through a riveting fusion of cutting-edge visuals, puppetry and stagecraft accompanied by a mind blowing cinematic score, Cirque du Soleil applies its unique signature style to James Cameron’s imaginary world and “makes the bond” between two kindred artistic visions that capture the imagination.

As with all of Cirque’s shows, Toruk – The First Flight is a visual feast for eyes that will have the audience gasping with delight as the astonishing Cirque Du Soleil performers wow the audience with their unique talents and style. This fascinating and visually spectacular performance combines incredible acrobatics, beautiful live music, wonderful costumes and remarkable visual special effects in a show that you and your Brisbane Kids will not want to miss.

October Performances:

•  Thursday 5th October @ 7.30pm
• Friday 6th October @7.30pm
• Saturday 7th October @ 8pm
• Sunday 8th October @1pm
• Friday 13th October @ 8pm
• Saturday 14th October @ 8pm
• Sunday 15th October @1pm

The show is 2 hours and 5 minutes in duration and includes a 25 minute intermission.

• Prices range from $76.40-$534.75 depending on day, time of performance, section selected for seating and package chosen.
• Group discounts for bookings of 20 or more people are available.
