The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is about to be taken over by Peppa Pig and a gaggle of youngsters for the new and interactive Peppa Pig Playdate.
Fans of the award-winning animated show – Peppa Pig – willย love this unique play experience that features life-size Peppa Pig characters, and a number of different zones to visit and play in.
In Brisbane for a limited time only, the Peppa Pig Playdate is guaranteed to have your little piglet snorting with delight. Here’s what your Brisbane Kid can expect at the Peppa Pig Playdate:
Peppa Pig Playdate Zones
You will need to purchase tickets online before you go and nominate which day and which two hour session you planย to attend. Once you are there, you can make your way around to all of the play zones. Our picks would be visiting Peppa’s house, playing on the pond, jumping on the bouncy muddy puddles (without the mess of real mud!) and playing with the life-size Peppa Pig herself.
There’s alsoย a musical show starring Peppa Pig and George live on stage which is a lot of fun and encourages everyone to sing, dance and clap along to the Bing Bong Song.
Before you leave, be sure to visit Danny Dog in the music room to play musical instruments, and have a look atย Mr. Foxโs Shop, where a range of Peppa Pig merchandise is available.

How to book aย Peppa Pig Playdate
Pre-school and primary school aged children will be best suited to the Peppa Pig Playdate experience. For very young or sensitive children, be aware that the whole Peppa Pig family, along with Suzy Sheep and Danny Dog, will be at the playdate event as full-sized (but very friendly!) characters. In addition, this is not an event where you can drop your children off – parental supervision is required at all times.
The Peppa Pig Playdate is being held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, located on Merivale St & Glenelg Street, South Brisbane, at the following times and dates:
- Saturday 14th January 2017
- Sunday 15th January 2017
- Monday 16th January 2017
- Tuesday 17th January 2017
- Wednesday 18th January 2017
- Thursday 19th January 2017
Each day has session times beginning every 30 minutes from 9.00am until 6.00pm, except the 19th January which is 9.00am until 3.00pm.
You can book your tickets online:
- $59.90 per priority entry ticket
- $45.90 per general entry ticket
- Kids under 12 months are FREE
- A one off $3.95 service and handling fee applies per transaction
You are welcome to take snacks and drinks with you, as there is no food or drink for sale within the playdate area.
