
Redlands Coast NAIDOC Cultural Celebration 2025
Redland City Council is proudly hosting the Redlands Coast NAIDOC Cultural Celebration on Sunday 6th July in Cleveland to launch NAIDOC Week 2025.
The free event will feature stage entertainment by first nations artists, traditional smoking ceremony, cultural demonstrations, information and market stalls, weaving workshops, kids’ activities and giveaways.
Take your chairs or picnic blankets and settle in on the lawn to enjoy local performances by Joe Geia and the band, Waveney Yasso, Suga Cane Mamas, Ben Barker, Maibre Grenfell, Georgia Corowa and the Yulu Burri Ba dancers.
This free event features a vibrant array of stallholders, live music from First Nations artists, a traditional smoking ceremony, Quandamooka cultural demonstrations, children’s activities, and weaving workshops. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate and honor the rich cultural heritage of the First Nations people.
The event will feature performances by Adam James, Suga Cane Mamas, Sachém, Yulu-Burri-Ba dancers, Georgia Corowa, Edgar Conlon, Colesy and the Wagga Torres Strait Island Dance Company.
