Cinema in the Suburbs – Carina
Families are invited to Mayfield State School on Saturday 6 September 2025 for an action-packed afternoon of rides, food, live entertainment, and an open-air cinema experience under the stars.
The fun kicks off at 1pm with rides and activities for all ages, from a rock wall, laser tag and cricket games to a giant slide, super sizzler, jumping castle and petting zoo. Market stalls and side show games add to the excitement, while delicious food is on offer from food trucks, hot chips, a fully stocked bar, the P&C BBQ and bake sale.
As the sun sets, the big screen lights up with Sonic 3 at approximately 5:30pm, before the evening wraps up with a dazzling fireworks finale at 7:30pm. Live music throughout the afternoon will keep the community buzzing, and kids will love exploring the many fun-filled activities on site.
Don’t forget to bring picnic rugs, chairs, and the whole crew for a relaxed afternoon that turns into a magical movie night. Plus, with over $3000 in raffle prizes to be won, thanks to generous sponsors, there are plenty of chances to take something special home.
