Coorparoo Christmas Carols for a Cause
Coorparoo is gearing up for a festive celebration as Coorparoo Christmas “Carols for a Cause” comes together in full seasonal spirit. Residents are invited to arrive in their best Christmas outfits and enjoy an afternoon filled with community connection, entertainment and plenty of holiday cheer.
The event features a packed program showcasing talented local performers of all ages, supported by a full stage setup complete with lighting and AV. Decorations are ready, food trucks will be serving favourites such as Vietnamese dishes, pizza, gelato, donuts and more, and local Scouts will be firing up the barbecue while the Guides host a Christmas cookie-decorating station. Face painters will be on site adding festive flair, and a low-sensory chill zone with beanbags will be available for anyone needing a quieter moment.
Families can look forward to a live Nativity play open to all children, a Santa letterbox and craft area, an Instax photobooth, raffle prizes, and slushies served for a gold-coin donation. Santa will even make a special appearance in a Golden Cadillac. Best-dressed prizes will be awarded to those embracing the festive fashion spirit.
The celebration proudly raises fun and funds for Wynola Girl Guides and Victor Street Scouts, bringing the community together for a meaningful and memorable Christmas event.
