Brisbane Fiesta Latina
Brisbane Fiesta Latina is a celebration of culture, food and music brought to Queensland by the Latin American Community of Australia (LACA), sharing the richness and vibrancy of Latin American culture with the wider community.
The festival welcomes people of all ages, abilities and cultural backgrounds, with a rich and diverse program of experiences for everyone to enjoy. Live performances from artists and musicians representing regions across Latin America set the scene, while interactive dance workshops and colourful folklore showcases invite visitors to get involved. Food stalls serving traditional favourites like empanadas, arepas and tacos offer an authentic culinary journey, and unique arts and crafts stalls alongside family-friendly activities round out a full and vibrant day out.
More than just a festival, Brisbane Fiesta Latina is a celebration of heritage, identity and unity. It fosters cultural inclusion, showcases the depth and diversity of Latin American arts and traditions, and strengthens intercultural connections across Queensland’s multicultural community
