About Little Bush Village

Little Bush Village is a nature-inspired early learning centre where children are encouraged to slow down, explore, connect and learn through play.
Their whole-child approach nurtures each child’s mind, body and spirit, creating a warm, home-like environment where children feel safe, valued and supported to grow into confident, capable and curious learners. They believe children learn best when they are given the freedom to follow their interests, experiment, ask questions, and discover the world around them in their own time.
Nature-rich environments
Little Bush Village’s beautiful, nature-rich environments provide children with endless opportunities for purposeful, child-centred play, both indoors and outdoors.
Each learning space has been thoughtfully designed to support children’s developmental needs at every stage –
- Koalas One (0–12 months) provides a nurturing environment focused on secure attachments, responsive care and sensory exploration, while
- Koalas Two (12 months–2 years) supports movement, communication, confidence and early independence.
- Wombats (2–3 years) encourages curiosity, language development and growing independence through play, while
- Possums (3–4 years) focuses on friendships, creativity, collaboration and inquiry-based learning.
- The Roo’s Kindergarten program prepares children for school through play, leadership opportunities and meaningful learning experiences.
From gardening and caring for the centre’s chickens to building, creating, sensory play and exploring natural materials, everyday experiences encourage children to develop problem-solving skills, resilience, creativity and a deep connection with the natural world. Little Bush Village’s nurturing educators support children through positive relationships and meaningful interactions while allowing their ideas and interests to guide the day.
Social & emotional wellbeing

Little Bush Village places a strong focus on children’s social and emotional wellbeing.
Staff thoughtfully balance routines, meals, rest, and group experiences with plenty of uninterrupted time for children to explore and immerse themselves in play. They believe that when children feel calm, connected and genuinely valued, they are free to learn, grow and discover their full potential.
Little Bush Village is more than an early learning centre; it is a little village where children, educators and families come together to build meaningful relationships, nurture curiosity and create a lifelong love of learning and the natural world.
Testimonials
“Little Bush Village have been a breath of fresh air since taking over the Paddington centre a couple of months ago. The team goes above and beyond to provide high-quality care, ensuring my girls are not only safe and well cared for, but also engaged in learning and inspired to explore. Both my 18 month old and four year old come home so happy, with plenty of stories to share about their adventures. The environment is beautiful, natural and calming, and the team has already transformed the centre so much. We couldn’t be happier!”
“The way Lizzie and the team have transformed the Centre is wonderful. My daughter loves the nature focused play. The educators are lovely.”
“Only positives to say, an important component to my daughter’s happiness and development. Lizzie (owner) is a big presence at the centre. Her passion is clear from her approach to the design, operations and management of the centre, the high calibre of staff she employs, focus on ensuring staff are treated fairly and respectfully and most importantly she genuinely loves kids. The passion she has continues with each of the staff members and their approach to care, nurture and educate our kids. The centre is stunning – raw and natural materials with playful, considered landscaping in the works. Most importantly, my daughter (3 y.o) is keen to go to daycare in the morning, full of stories at dinner time. She’s regulated at pick up and her development has benefited from her care at LBV.”
