  • AboutBrisbane Kids Creative was created by me! Ngaire Stirling. I wont pretend to talk in the third person about myself, instead let me tell you a bit about me and how 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came about. At the time the domain name 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for purchase I was a stay at home mum in the middle of a degree centred around journalism and PR. a couple of years earlier I had been contemplating returning to my previous career in marketing management and for a while I even tried. 3 months into a new role and it was clear that I had no passion for my old life and to make the decision to quit easier, my almost 2 year old at the time was not coping with childcare. So, as a family we made the decision for me to return to becoming a stay at home mum. About 1 years later or so.. 110.232.142.129/~brisba22 came up for sale. My friends had often commented on my ability to know exactly what was happening in Brisbane for kids. I had my son enrolled in some awesome activities and we often visited some great destinations. I loved finding fun things for us to doโ€ฆ

Logan Village Skate Park Review

Last updated: January 11, 2023

This state-of-the-art skate park in Logan City is a must-visit destination for any Brisbane Kids who love to ride on two, four or more wheels.  It has plenty of fun elements for everyone from beginners to professionals and is part of the Logan Village Green precinct, which offers even more.

Features of Logan Village Skatepark

The Logan Village skate park has been designed with BMX riders, scooters and skateboarders in mind, but rollerbladers and roller skaters could find plenty of fun here too!

It has elements appropriate for all ages and abilities, so there are large flat areas for beginners who are just finding their balance on their wheels, and plenty of technical elements for older and more experienced riders.

The park has been thoughtfully designed and includes two massive bowls, quarter pipes, a three-metre vert wall, rails, ramps, stairs and spines.  There are street sections as well as bowls and pipes to cater to different styles of riders and experience levels.

The mixture of metal and smooth concrete elements here are expected with most new skate parks. Still, the inclusion of timber in this park is a welcome and surprising element in keeping with the area’s rural surroundings and heritage.

This is a busy and popular skate park, with most visitors being friendly. Still, supervision is recommended for younger kids and beginners to ensure they stay safe, know the rules and arenโ€™t attempting elements beyond their skill level.

There is lighting here to make it safer and also extend the hours of use into the evening (perfect for summer when the evenings are cooler and winter when the days are shorter). The shade structures and bubblers inside the skate park and elsewhere in the Logan Village Green, provide welcome shade and refreshment after working up a sweat.

Logan Village Green precinct

The Logan Village Skate Park is located right next door to the Logan Village police station and is situated on the Logan Village Green.  This area is the hub of the Logan Village community.

It features a large grassy field with a half-court basketball, picnic tables, barbecues, toilets, an incredible adventure playground with a giant slide, flying fox, in-ground trampolines, an obstacle course, and more.  There is a smooth, wide concrete path linking the skate park to the adventure playground on the other side of the green.

It would be easy to spend hours between the playground and the skate park, so pack a picnic or barbecue, or head to one of the local restaurants for a bite while youโ€™re here.  Read more about the Logan Village playground.
