Designed for Brisbane toddlers and babies aged 0 to 5, this free community event features dress-up adventures, hands-on sensory play zones, dedicated baby spaces, and take-home play packs for local families.
Imaginative Play Matters 2026
Imaginative Play 2026 is a free community event celebrating the power of play for children aged 0 to 5 years, with the chance to dress up, play, imagine and explore.
The event features a dedicated baby play area, giving even the tiniest adventurers a chance to play, explore and enjoy the fun.
Children are welcome to attend dressed as their favourite character, from pirates and princesses to superheroes and astronauts, and enjoy imaginative play experiences, sensory and creative activities, free take home Play Packs, a dedicated baby play area, and access to local services and family resources.
