Kick off the festive season this November 2026 with Santa’s Arrival and Buggy Parade at Sanctuary Cove Marine Village. Local families and visiting Brisbane day-trippers will love watching Santa, Mrs Claus, and Rudolph join the colourful decorated golf buggy procession, alongside fairy dancers and high-energy beats from the Gold Coast Drumline.

Santa is coming to Sanctuary Cove, and he’s bringing a whole lot of Christmas magic with him!
Santa’s Arrival & Buggy Parade is back, as the Marine Village comes alive with festive fun, colourful entertainment and a spectacular parade of Christmas-decorated golf buggies. After the success of last year’s event, this much-loved community celebration returns for another magical morning. It’s a free event, and everyone is welcome!
What to expect
Santa’s grand arrival: Watch Santa make his way through the Marine Village, accompanied by Mrs Claus and Rudolph.
Christmas buggy parade: See the streets come alive with a colourful procession of golf buggies decked out in their Christmas best.
Gold Coast Drumline: Feel the festive energy as the drummers bring their incredible beats to the parade.
Festive entertainment: Enjoy fairy dancers, colourful performers and plenty of Christmas cheer.
Sausage sizzle: Grab a bite to eat and support the wonderful work of Rotary Hope Island.

Locals are invited to get creative and join the fun! Bring out the tinsel, fairy lights, Christmas decorations and festive accessories, and turn your golf buggy into a Christmas masterpiece. The best dressed buggy wins a luxury weekend stay at InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef! Whether you go all out or keep things traditionally festive, everyone is encouraged to take part.
