All children deserve to be safe, happy, and loved.
Sadly, every year, there’s between 45,000 and 50,000 confirmed cases of children in Australia who have experienced abuse and neglect.
That’s why this September, Act for Kids is launching the Stadium of Hope during Child Protection Week.
In a Queensland first, Act for Kids is encouraging the community to come together, purchase their virtual seats and fill the Stadium of Hope in a united show of support.
Queenslanders can purchase a virtual seat for $10 each, with every seat representing a chance at hope and healing for kids and access to essential therapy and support services.
When you take a seat in the virtual Stadium of Hope, you’re helping kids through a tough time, and giving them every chance to thrive.
Act for Kids’ teams of speech and language therapists, psychologists and occupational therapists work alongside each child so they can reach their full potential.
Working with children who have experienced abuse and neglect is complex, but the sooner we start helping, the more chance we can change a child’s life for the future.
