As the sun descends in the South-East Queensland sky, Twilight markets come alive. Cooler weather, a relaxed atmosphere and the benefit of not having to make dinner are just some of the great reasons to hit up one of the best twilight markets in Brisbane.

Most of the markets offer a variety of delicious food and drinks, bric-a-brac, homemade products and live music and entertainment, making their aisles the ideal place for a gentle stroll as the sun fades. Some markets even allow you to bring your friendly dog, though check in advance to avoid your furry friend being disappointed.

Twilight Markets – Brisbane City

BrisStyle Twilight Markets

Handmade local goods, food trucks and live entertainment, nestled under the twinkling lights beside City Hall is a magical way to spend your Friday night. Local designers, artists and makers showcase their wide range of goods including jewellery, clothing, accessories artworks and more.

The Collective Markets

A firm favourite in the heart of South Bank, The Collective Markets is a vibrant cultural melting pot set in the artisan’s heart of Brisbane. Food stalls, as well as an eclectic mix of original art, photography, unique gifts, trending fashion and vintage clothing is showcased and backed up by live music.  The kids will love that the South Bank kids’ playground is nearby and lit up for a night-time play, adding a fun element to your market visit.

Milton Christmas Twilight Market

Visit the Milton Christmas Twilight Market to get into the festive spirit. What better way to signal the start of the festive season then a visit to West End Christmas Twilight Market. Roving entertainers, a kids disco and live music will entertain the market goers and of course there will be a special visit from Santa.

Eat Street Northshore

Repurposed shipping containers, spectacular river views and a family-friendly atmosphere make Eat Street Northshore a delightful twilight market to visit, just a stone’s throw from the city. Twilight Markets – South Brisbane

Mt Gravatt Street Food

The bustling Mt Gravatt Street Food market offers a range of over 60 different food vans and vendors.  Cuisines such as Italian, Asian, BBQ, seafood, paella, crepes, ice-creams, and donuts are bound to delight even the fussiest of eaters. The market has an amazing atmosphere and relaxed vibe but comes alive with live music and even a shipping container bar for those over 18.

Ripley Markets

The South Brisbane Twilight Vegan Markets, held at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds, will see visitors enjoying a variety of vegan friendly food and drinks while undertaking a spot of cruelty-free shopping. Your friendly dog is also welcome.
