If you’ve never played mini golf (putt putt), it’s time to pick up a putter and enjoy some laughs with your Brisbane Kids.
The aim of this family-friendly ball game is to putt your ball through the course with the lowest number of attempts. Whether you keep score or not, mini golf is lots of fun for Brisbane Kids, and us bigger kids too.
Benefits of Mini Golf
As well as being a great family bonding activity, mini golf is also useful for improving hand-eye coordination. Spatial awareness, concentration and persistence can also be improved by playing mini golf. And the best bit – kids won’t even recognise it as a chore as they will be having so much fun!!
Scoring can be used as a simple mathematical exercise for children. You may even spark a love of mini-golf as a sport! Believe it or not, there are local, national and international tournaments to compete in.
Clubs and balls can usually be hired at the golf club, but don’t forget to pack a hat, sunscreen and water bottles for outside courses and for parents, consider taking your stuff in a backpack rather than a handbag which you will need to put down each time you putt.

Seriously don’t waste your money at the Albany links putt putt. The features are broken and in very bad repair.

Browns Plains WePlay is now shut down 🙁

Been here twice: Second time kids were over it a little over half way around: Both times it was reasonably busy so lots of waiting between holes: A bit too hilly too so the ball often rolls out of bounds which is a bit frustrating. They have a natural look, rocks and hills but my kids and I find the layout and features repetitive after the first few holes:
I went to putt putt as a kid where they had the windmill and fun holes like that: i’d like to find somewhere more like that:

Victoria park putt put is by far the best that we’ve been on as a family
Our son is six and has enjoyed well over half a dozen visits
We try to coincide the bistro but a slight word of caution is for families venturing here during the lead up to Christmas. Expect to wait
The most frustrating thing is the rules specifically state groups no bigger than 4 but we encountered many office parties ( and this was at 11am) with 7 and 8 causing long waits
If you have sporty kids that are competitive then this is for you
The airport putt putt is a little tamer by comparison as it is also flatter than vic park
Its not a cheap day out if you include meals but generally worth it as it is memorable
