How to make your Christmas Marshmallow Snowmen in Jelly
Step 1:
Pour your blue jelly crystals into a mixing bowl and add one cup of boiling water. Stir until all of the crystals have dissolved and then add one cup of cold water. Stir thoroughly before distributing the mixture evenly into five small serving bowls. Refrigerate for 3-5 hours until jelly has set.
Step 2:
Grab one standard-sized marshmallow, three mini marshmallows, three black edible balls, a yellow edible ice-cream decoration and a Reece’s Miniature Peanut Butter Cup for each jelly container you have made up. Lay them out and cut the standard-size marshmallows in half.
Step 3:
Add two small black edible balls to the sticky side of one of each half of marshmallow. They should stick well. These will be two of your snowman’s buttons. Using a small dob of icing pen mixture, add one more edible ball to one of the mini marshmallows allocated for each bowl.
Step 4:
Putting it all together.
When the jelly has set, set out your little snowman characters into the jelly by:
- If you want to have a hat, add on the peanut butter cup at the top.
- Lay one main marshmallow under this for the head
- Then put the mini marshmallow with the edible ball on it horizontally under this.
- Add the next standard cut marshmallow with the two edible balls.
- Add two mini marshmallows for the feet.
- Make a small cut (with a skewer or knife) in the head marshmallow and poke the ice-cream edible into it to make the nose.
- With the icing pens, draw on the snowman’s eyes and mouth.
- With the icing pen carefully draw the snowman arms onto the jelly.
- If you want to have a hat, add on the peanut butter cup at the top.
