Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols

Riverstage

6 December 2025, 7pm – 9pm (pre-show from 6pm)

This must-see annual Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols will host a variety of Australia’s most renowned singers and entertainers. There will also be a live stream of the event at Roma Street Parkland.

Back for its eighth year, Christmas Actually delivers all the hits from the classic movie Love Actually. Suitable for children 15 years and older. 

The Nutcracker

5 – 13 December 2025, various times

Come and celebrate the final season of The Nutcracker at QPAC and see why it is a firm family favourite. 

A Christmas Carol

12 – 24 December 2025, various times

Head to QPAC to experience a theatrical masterpiece with the adaption of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. There will be carolling, live music and even snow! 

Flabbergasters – Magic! Circus! Christmas!

13 December 2025, 11am and 2pm

Join in the magic at the Flabbergasters show featuring amazing stunts, jaw-dropping tricks and plenty of festive fun for the whole family.

Celebrate the festive season with music, dance, circus and magic at the family-friendly, The Christmas Spectacular. 

The Greatest Christmas Show

Great Hall, BCEC

14 December 2025. 2.30pm and 7pm

The Greatest Christmas Show is a family-friendly magic show with dancers, aerial acts and a visit from Santa.

The halls will be decked, the stockings hung. December 2025 welcomes back Spirit of Christmas, with all our favourite carols to be sung.

Fill your Christmas spirit cup at the heritage listed Christ Church Chapel in Milton (next to Suncorp Stadium). The family-friendly Carols in the Chapel, is not to be missed.
