Collies & Co Cafe
Food For adults, there’s an all-day breakfast menu and lunch menu which specialises in gourmet burgers. On the dedicated kids’ menu, you’ll find scrambled eggs on toast, pikelets with maple syrup and other kid-friendly fare like toasties and babycinos.
Drinks To wash down the food, there are delicious mocktails, tea, Cleanskin coffee, juices and milkshakes (including kid-sized milkshakes).
Dog cafe options. Separate to the entire puppy cuddling experience, Collies & Co. is also cafe that not only welcomes your children but also your pet dog, because they’re part of the family too, right? Once you and your children have made your menu choices, it’s time for your puppy to decide on their preferred brunch! The Collies & Co. “Doggo menu” features warm and frothy puppycinos and dog-friendly chicken nuggets, just to name a few of the canine options. Bowls of water are also provided for dogs, but it’s important to remember to keep your dog on a leash. Collies & Co also offer a takeaway service of delicious smokehouse meals.
Collies & Co Puppy Cuddling Experience
Collies & Co Cafe in Samford is proving extremely popular thanks to their delicious food and coffee, friendly service and their puppy experience! Due to its popularity, the ‘Puppy Cuddle Dine-In Experience’ must be booked in advance. Priced at $50 for adults and $25 for children aged 2-13 years (kids under 2 are free when seated in a high chair), the experience includes a main meal and drink person, 45 minutes of non-stop puppy love and a Polaroid photo to commemorate your cuddles. Availability does depend on the puppies, with pedigree and rescue puppy litters on hand at various times throughout the year. From time to time, there are also pedigree border collie puppies to play with, which give the cafe its name.
Before entering the dog yard, you’ll be sanitised with veterinary-grade disinfectant spray and two animal attendants oversee the puppy play session. Don’t forget to take your phone or camera to get some happy snaps!
Collies & Co also operates as a regular cafe during the above hours and no booking is required if you just want to grab a coffee and a bite to eat (sans the puppy experience).

Other things to know
Collie’s & Co. Cafe features an indoor and outdoor dining area which is partially fenced and partially shaded. From the outdoor area, you can also view the dogs playing without having to go into the enclosure. This is great for kids that may feel a little unsure about getting too close to the very excitable puppies. Parking is available on Main Street, although it can be limited during busy periods. Highchairs are available, and there is plenty of room in the outdoor eating area for a wheelchair or pram. There are toilet facilities located inside the cafe.
