There is a lot to love about Demeio Park, Marsden. Featuring an amazing playground, this Logan City park is sometimes referred to as the Logan Cycle Park thanks to its incredible mini road tracks.
Demeio Park playground
Demeio Park was designed to be a community space for kids of all ages and abilities and this vision begins with a colourful and impressive multi-age playground. Designed by playground makers Urban Play, the playground features a 9.4 metre climbing tower, mega tube slide, flying fox and birds nest swing. A basketball court has been installed for the teenagers and there is an oval for general ball play. Shade sails sit over the playground allowing for all-day play and shaded picnic tables sit beside the playground making this an ideal park to host a birthday party.

Imagination factor
Demeio Park is located next to Berrinba Wetlands and is part of the Karawatha to Flinders Peak Corridor. Designed to complement the environment upon which it was built you will find the paths wind along the creek and provide an ideal setting for an afternoon picnic. If you are interested in getting your kids involved in bird watching, a bird survey conducted in 2015 by the Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland found over 50 different species of bird in Demeio Park.
Logan Cycle Park
The cycle park is designed to look and feel like a real road and features 220 metres of pathway, line markings, a roundabout, road signs, and mini versions of the Gateway Bridge and Logan River’s iconic Red Bridge. It is an ideal Logan park to take the kids to and teach them how to ride safely. We especially love the 2 laned extra wide pathways that teach how to overtake safely. Make sure you pack a helmet and a first aid kit.
Accessibility
Wide concrete paths and a soft fall base ensure wheelchair accessibility along with accessible toilet facilities.
