Featuring an exclusive soundtrack from Brisbane music royalty The Veronicas, Bright Nights by ANZ turns the Brisbane River into a dazzling display of water, light, and sound. Floating fountains, waterscreens, moving water features, and water jets shooting up to 80 metres high are lit up by a stunning laser show, filling the Festival Village precinct with colour and energy.
The show has a real local feel, adding extra emotion and a modern touch.
It starts with a Welcome to Country and a story about the local area, told by Traditional Owner Yuggera and Turrbal man Shannon Ruska. Bright Nights by ANZ is a nightly celebration of Brisbane and its river.
You can enjoy this free, 15-minute show with family and friends from the bridges or either side of the Brisbane River. For the best view, head to Festival Village at Clem Jones Promenade, South Bank. Free shows run three times a night throughout the festival, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. Please note the show is 75% visual, with limited audio content.
