BUNKTOPIA: A Bunk Puppets Show

Award-winning Bunk Puppets returns to Ipswich these Easter school holidays with a new live shadow puppet performance, BUNKTOPIA.

Watch everyday objects transform into quirky and captivating silhouettes, bursting with life and humour, that will delight and inspire audiences of all ages. Flying popcorn, brain surgeons, speedy chickens, pool noodle light swords, and a snail romance – expect a playful and imaginative showcase! Wordless and brimming with wonder, Bunktopia is a brand-new creation from acclaimed puppeteer and theatre-maker Jeff Achtem.

For over a decade, Bunk Puppets have wowed audiences around the globe with family-friendly performances, including award-winning shows Sticks Stones Broken Bones, Swamp Juice, Slapdash Galaxy, and Bunkasaurus.

Event details

Two sessions daily between
7-11 April + 14-17 April 2025
10:30am-11:30am and 1pm-2pm (no intermission).
$15 for adults and $10 for kids.

Please be advised that BUNKTOPIA will take place at Studio188: 188 Brisbane St, Ipswich.

Recommended for 5 years + Some scenes may be scary for younger audiences. Children must be accompanied by an adult ticket holder.​ Performances may feature strobing and lighting effects that could affect some viewers.
