Cooly Rocks On is set to return to Coolangatta, bringing the motors, music, and lifestyle of yesteryear to life! This iconic festival is a celebration of vintage culture, featuring one of Australia’s premier Show ‘N’ Shine displays. Visitors can marvel at a stunning collection of hot rods, kustom vehicles, lowbrow art, and more, with over 900 classic cars lining the streets of Coolangatta.
Music lovers will be thrilled by performances from some of the best rock ‘n’ roll, swing, rockabilly, and tribute artists from around the globe. The festival is also one of only two in Australia to host an official preliminary round of the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, with the winner earning a ticket to Elvis Week in Memphis, USA.
A standout favourite, the Cooly Rocks On Pin-up Pageant, adds a touch of glamour and retro charm to the festivities. For those hunting for vintage treasures, the Nostalgia Markets along the Coolangatta beachfront offer an array of retro goods and memorabilia.
