EKKA show holiday fun at IndigiScapes
Redland City Council is welcoming Brisbane neighbours to come and play at IndigiScapes on the Ekka Show holiday, with a free ticketed day packed with nature-based fun for the whole family.
Start the morning with a delicious breakfast at IndigiCafe before letting the kids burn off some energy at Big Backyard Play, featuring extra loose play items and nature-based activities in the playground area. After all that outdoor fun, treat yourself to IndigiCafe’s Ekka-stra special strawberry ice cream sundae, available for a limited time only.
Make a full day of it by exploring the Discovery Centre, wandering through the native botanic gardens, or taking a stroll along the scenic bushwalking trails. The Theatrette will also be offering free screenings of short films (PG) from SCINEMA, an international science film festival, as part of National Science Week. Bring a picnic lunch or settle in on the verandah at IndigiCafe, serving locally inspired food and drinks with a bush tucker twist. The Eco gift shop and nursery are also on hand for native plant advice and a little shopping on the way out.
Tickets are free but required. Book in advance to secure a spot.
