Enjoy a fantastic outdoor evening at Fireworks and Movie in the Park in Nundah this September 2026. Head to Boyd Park for jumping castle fun, a free sausage sizzle, ice cream, a spectacular fireworks display, and a sunset screening of the animated movie Migration under the stars.
Fireworks and Movie in The Park @ Nundah 2026
The much-loved Fireworks and Movie in the Park is returning once again, proudly supported by the Lord Mayor’s Community Fund. The community is invited to come together and celebrate the vibrant Nundah community at this year’s event.
This year’s movie is Migration, screening as part of the award-winning 2026 Nundah Festival and held in partnership with Rotary Brisbane Northside, who will be providing a sausage sizzle. A coffee cart and ice cream will also be on site. Everyone is welcome to bring a picnic rug, gather family and friends, grab a free sausage, and enjoy an evening of fun at Boyd Park.
Movie: Migration (Rated PG | 83 minutes)
Synopsis: After a migrating duck family alights on their pond with thrilling tales of far-flung places, the Mallard family embarks on a family road trip, from New England, to New York City, to tropical Jamaica.
Schedule:
- Jumping castle from 4pm
- Sausage sizzle from 5pm by Rotary Brisbane Northside
- Coffee cart and ice cream on site
- Fireworks start at 6pm*
- Movie starts at 6:15pm
*Fireworks can scare pets, so please keep pets safe during the firework show. Make sure pets have collars and tags on, and are secured inside.
