The big country day out returns to Jimboomba this September 13, serving up smoky barbecue, live country music and unlimited family fun.
Visitors can taste the best barbecue in the region, discover food trucks packed with flavour, and enjoy licenced pop-up bars pouring the classics.
The entertainment is non-stop. Guests can see fire knife performances, whip flame shows, food demos, markets and line dancing workshops. Families can cheer on ticket holders competing in the Battle of the Mullet, Team Relay Eating, Kids Eating with Trivia, and the Country Spouse Shout, featuring MC Sienna Mallon and Jimmy Judge doing his famous eating challenge.
All the family will be thrilled with unlimited free rides and activities. Big kids can brave the Kamikaze and Super Sizzler, while younger ones enjoy chair swings, inflatable horse racing, jump pads, face painting and whip cracking workshops.
The soundtrack to the day is live country music at its best. Over six hours of performances will fill the stage, featuring Max Jackson, Golden Guitar winner for ‘Female Artist Of The Year’ and ‘Single Of The Year’. Logan’s own Jake Whittaker and Australian Idol semi-finalist also takes the mic, joined by country DJ Dee Jaye Bux and Exit 24.
