Get ready to soak up the vibrant atmosphere with the return of Gigs and Picnics – a free event nestled in the City Botanic Gardens.

Grab your picnic essentials, round up your friends or family (including your furry friends), and enjoy a perfect day in the park.

Head along to the City Botanic Gardens on the last Saturday of March to May and August to October for an unforgettable experience of free live music and delicious food trucks, thanks to City Sounds, Australia’s largest and longest-running free live music program.

Gigs and Picnics

When: 12pm – 4pm, last Saturday of March to May and August to October (upcoming – 31st August, 28th September & 26th October 2024)
