The Gold Coast Kite Festival and India Independence Day Celebration is proudly organised by the Indian Community of Gold Coast (ICGC). This much-loved event promises a full day of cultural festivities and family-friendly fun.
Guests can enjoy a grand stage filled with multicultural performances, live music, a special band performance, and live DJ sets. The celebration also features cultural stalls, hourly giveaways, henna art, face painting, and a kite flying workshop, with kites available to purchase on the day.
It is the perfect picnic day out for the whole family, celebrating India’s independence and the rich cultural diversity of the Gold Coast community.
