Lake Samsonvale Watersports Association OPEN DAY
The Lake Samsonvale Watersports Association is inviting the community to an Open Day filled with fun, family-friendly activities on and off the water. Visitors can join in the Amazing Race, completing a series of entertaining challenges for the chance to win prizes, including a year’s family membership. Along the way, participants can try sailing, paddling, or radio-controlled yachting, making it an exciting experience for all ages.
Guests will also have the opportunity to climb aboard a sailing boat for a guided trip around the lake, test their skills at radio-controlled sailing, and try out a range of paddle craft provided by Sunstate Water Sports. The Brisbane Catamaran Centre will also be on hand to showcase the latest in Nacra and Maricat sailing.
On shore, families can enjoy a free sausage sizzle, a picnic on the grass, or time at the playground near the clubhouse. Guided tours of the facilities will be available, and visitors are welcome to relax on the clubhouse deck and take in the view of the lake and sailing activities. Amenities including toilets and showers are available on site.
This free community event promises plenty of action, exploration, and relaxation, making it a great day out for families, water sport enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the association.
