Luminous in the Regions – Gold Coast 2026
Luminous in the Regions returns to the Gold Coast for 2026, bringing communities together to light up the sky with spectacular handmade lanterns in a celebration of culture, community, and belonging.
Presented by MCCGC during Multicultural Month, the festival unites diverse cultures through music, performances, lantern making, and cultural expression, creating a welcoming space for new Queenslanders and celebrating the rich diversity that makes the Gold Coast so special. The highlight of the evening is a powerful lantern parade, where communities come together in a shared spirit of unity and acceptance.
