Opera Queensland Costume Display
Visitors to Brisbane Quarter this May are invited to experience the magic of the stage with a stunning costume display from Opera Queensland’s acclaimed production of La Cenerentola (Cinderella). Located on Podium Level 1, just downstairs from the precinct’s dining offerings, this free exhibition showcases a dazzling selection of theatrical costumes.
On display are exquisite pieces from the beloved fairytale opera, including Cinderella’s glittering ball gown, an extravagant cape adorned with hundreds of hand-sewn flowers, and a floral Alexander McQueen suit famously worn by Timothée Chalamet. The collection offers a whimsical blend of flora, pastel tones, and shimmering details that capture the enchanting essence of the production.
The La Cenerentola costume display will be open to the public at Brisbane Quarter. This is a free installation and a must-see for lovers of theatre, fashion, and fairy tales alike.
