Redcliffe Remembers 1824 – 2024 Festival- Picnic in the Park
History Redcliffe is thrilled to host a fun and free family event, bringing the community together to celebrate the rich heritage of the region—from its first inhabitants to the arrival of European settlers and the establishment of the penal colony.
The event will begin with a Welcome to Country by Songwoman Maroochy Barambah, setting the tone for a day of cultural celebration. Visitors can enjoy a variety of entertainment, including roving bands, dancers, choirs, and performances by the North Pine Bush Poets.
Children will have plenty to keep them entertained with dedicated activities, and a selection of food trucks will be on site to offer a variety of delicious options. Join in the fun and celebrate the history that unites the community!
