SPARK Ipswich

SPARK Ipswich is an exciting celebration of Ipswich’s people, places, arts, and culture. Get ready for a fresh lineup of light installations, projections, music, comedy, arts, exhibitions, and more, taking over the city.

SPARK Ipswich is back from 11 to 20 July 2025, bringing another exciting line-up of events, entertainment and fun to the City of Ipswich!

While we wait for details, check out what was on in the 2024 program below.

 

Families are in for a treat with plenty of kid-friendly events, including a children’s festival and a dazzling light show. Don’t miss out on favourites like ‘Little Day Out,’ a fun-filled festival focusing on music, arts, and sustainability just for kids. Plus there is a Teddy Bear’s Picnic the whole family will love. 

As the sun sets, gather your loved ones to explore the vibrant ‘deLight’ projections, ‘pixel’ art installations, and ‘Inhabited Ipswich’ shopfront displays. Plus, there’s live venue programming in the CBD throughout SPARK.

During the day, unleash your creativity at IMMERSE. Tulmur Place will be transformed into a hub of family-friendly arts workshops, live performances, and delicious food trucks.

And the fun doesn’t stop there – SPARK on Tour brings an interactive music and literacy experience for 2-7-year-olds to Ipswich Libraries across the city. Get ready to ignite your imagination at SPARK Ipswich 2024!
