Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers 2025
The Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers returns from Friday 12th September to Monday 6th October 2025, bringing four floral-filled weekends of flowers, food, music, and family fun. Now in its 76th year, Australia’s longest-running floral festival will feature more than 40 million blooms, a refreshed program with four new signature events, and all the beloved favourites.
Highlights include the iconic Grand Central Floral Parade at 10am on Saturday 20 September, when more than 100,000 spectators will gather to watch hundreds of colourful floats, carnival characters, roving performers, and street entertainers wind through the city to Queens Park in a celebration of floral artistry.
Over the four weekends, visitors can enjoy twilight garden parties, music under the stars, tasting tours, and vibrant floral displays at Queens Park and Laurel Bank Park. The event program features:
🌸 Weekend One – Lawn Party, Floral Friday, Twilight Tour
🌸 Weekend Two – Floral Parade, Paw Parade, Tasting Tour
🌸 Weekend Three – FEASTival (replacing Food and Wine), #TrEATS, Queens Park Floral Displays
🌸 Weekend Four – Weekend Table, Laurel Bank Park Floral Displays, Ferris Wheel
Family-friendly attractions will run throughout the carnival, including the Ferris Wheel at Queens Park Botanic Gardens (19 Sep–6 Oct), the Vintage Carousel at Laurel Bank Park (20 Sep–5 Oct), Sideshow Alley with rides, games, food stalls, and fireworks (19–21 Sep), historic train rides to Spring Bluff Gardens (20–28 Sep), Earthly Explorers at Toowoomba City Library, spellbinding School of Magic workshops at the Empire Theatre, and Bricks in Bloom – A Floral LEGO fan expo at the Christlife Presbyterian Church (27 Sep)
