The Gold Coast has some of the most kid-friendly beaches and outdoor playgrounds in the world, but when the sun is scorching hot, or the forecast is predicting drenching rain, you may find yourself searching for an indoor playground to keep the kids happy and active.
We’ve done the research for you and found the Gold Coast’s best indoor playcentres so all you have to do is punch the address into your navigational system and start driving. Just don’t forget the kids’ socks!

Indoor Playgrounds at the Gold Coast
Bella’s Wonderland, Southport
Newly opened in mid-2023, Bella’s Wonderland is a destination for imaginative play for kids, whilst also being a retreat for parents. This innovative and Instagram-able venue is awash with pastel colours and play structures for endless fun. It also features a unique café that serves gourmet coffee and a great range of food items.
Bella’s Wonderland is open 7 days per week, from 9am to 5pm. School and public holiday opening times may differ.

Bounce Inc Australia, Burleigh Waters
Bounce Inc is an indoor trampoline and adrenaline playground with no age restrictions and one of the most popular indoor playgrounds on the Gold Coast. The Burleigh Waters franchise also has a massive indoor playground and the opportunity to play bubble soccer (think regular soccer but with big inflatables).
An onsite canteen and Bounce Inc is open seven days, including evenings. Monday to Thursday the centre is open from 9am until 8pn, on Fridays from 9am until 9pm, Saturday from 9am until 8pm and Sunday from 9am until 6 pm. School and public holiday opening times may differ.

Chipmunks, Robina
The Chipmunks play centre in Robina is suitable for kids aged 0 – 11 years. The centre features two indoor age zones: a toddler zone and main zone for older children. The onsite cafe offers barista-made coffee. snacks and meals and is situated so you can supervise your children in the play areas while sipping on a hot beverage in the dining area.
Chipmunks is open seven days a week. Mondays to Saturdays it is open from 9am until 5pm, and on Sundays, it is open from 10am until 4pm. School and public holiday opening times may differ.

Doodlebugs, Miami
One of the more well known indoor playgrounds on the Gold Coast, Doodlebugs is a fully air-conditioned play centre with complimentary Wi-Fi, a toddler area and a cafe. The main play area includes an indoor train and a cannonball battle zone with foam balls. There is also an outdoor seating area, located adjacent to the cafe, with an uninterrupted view of the main play area.
Doodlebugs is open from 8am until 2pm Tuesdays to Fridays, and from 8am until 1pm on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays and Mondays. School and public holiday opening times may differ.

EMF JNR, Broadbeach
EMF JNR at Pacific Fair is a supervised indoor playground, where parents can drop the kids off for up to two hours and head off and get a workout in or get some shopping done. With ball pits, climbing nets and more, the kids may not want to leave!
Session times run on the hour and bookings are essential. The centre is open from 9am until 5:30pm Mondays to Fridays, from 9am until 5pm on Saturdays and 9am to 4pm on Sundays. School and public holiday opening times may differ.

EMF JNR, Nerang
EMF JNR at Nerang is a supervised indoor playground, where parents can drop the kids off and know they are in capable, qualified hands. With inflatable jumping castles, ball pits and more, the kids may not want to leave! EMF JNR Nerang features a supervised playground for ages 4+ years, as well as a creche for those aged between 6 months and 4 years. Special classes such as Ninja Warrior, Boot Camp and Mums & Bubs sessions are also on offer at selected times.

Flipz Academy, Southport
Flipz Academy‘s Trampoline and Ninja Action Zone is open to the public for general sessions, and this Super Performance Centre also plays home to a huge array of active kids classes during the term and in the school holidays, including gymnastics, circus, ninja/parkour, aerials and more. Their general sessions provide full access to the trampolines, parkour equipment and rock climbing walls.

Inflatable World, Arundel
Inflatable World at Arundel is a great place to let the kids burn off some energy on the epic jumping castles and other inflatables. This indoor play centre also allows you to bring your own snacks and drinks, and provides a water drinking fountain for refills. Alternatively, you can purchase snacks and drinks from the onsite canteen.

Inflatable World at Burleigh is exactly as the name suggests: a big area filled with inflatable activities! Sessions are for two hours, and parents are welcome to join in. The cafe also serves Organic Coffee and snacks such as cookies, muffins, packets of chips, ice blocks, and a selection of cold drinks. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks and a filtered water bubbler if provided so you can refill your own drink bottle.

At the Kidz Biz Fun Centre, it’s all about – you guessed it – kids having fun! To keep the kids busy there is a climbing structure, jumping castles, slides and a toddler area. For the parents, there is an onsite cafe for all your caffeine requirements. This centre is best suited to children aged 10 years and younger.

Reboundland, Elanora
For more fun of the bouncy variety, there is Reboundland at Elanora. This play centre features 15 interactive inflatables suitable for all ages. Kids can show off their skills in the Lagoon Of Doom, conquer their fears on the 5.5m high Mount Daunting or dash through the Speed Racer. There is also an area dedicated to the under 5’s called the Misty Kingdom, a café and a mezzanine level seating area to watch all the excitement unfold.

Can I bring my own food to Gold Coast Playcentres?
Check their rules first, but generally outside food is not allowed. Drink bottles are. If you have allergies that need to be accommodated for, just reach out to the centre before you visit.
