The name says it all. The Secret Garden is part of Pure Tennis but everyone and anyone is welcome to come along. With a strong child focus, this cafe has multiple play areas for children, both inside and out, and they are happy for you to bring your own snacks for the kids as well.
What’s On The Menu?
The Secret Garden specializes in traditional crepes with a whole menu of toppings to choose from so even the picky little eater will be happy.
Note: As they do not offer a full menu, the cafe is happy for parents to bring along some food/snacks for their children as well.
Kids Play Options
The Secret Garden has left nothing out and chances are you may forget you brought your children with you as they will have so much to keep them occupied while you sip your latte. An undercover outdoor space with soft, artificial grass is located between their cafe servery and the play room. It is also right in front of a tennis court this is secured and available for the children to play on – complete with little trikes and cars.
A designated playroom has also been set up and is covered in a soft fall mat which is just perfect for busy little bodies to land gently on. The playroom itself is the things of dreams and is home to a large play table which is full of blocks, a toy kitchen, kid’s shopping trollies, dolls house, books, baskets full of toy cars, kids laptops and interactive toys, soft toys, a rocking chair, baby toys and kids musical instruments.
The play areas are both inside and outside as well as fully enclosed.
Other Child-Friendly Services Provided
The Secret Garden provides high chairs, a baby change area and also a sink (in the play area) if needed. They have a large landscaped outdoor space for kids to explore and also have toilet facilities close by so it is handy for parents. Baby play mats and picnic rugs are available to cater for young bubs and mum’s wanting to sit on the floor with their babies and there is plenty of space for pram parking.
In addition to their play space they also hold a FREE Toddler Tennis morning on Wednesdays for any 3 & 4yr old’s who are at the cafe and, if you have a tennis-loving youngster, then you may also be interested in the fun and affordable tennis birthday parties on offer for children aged 3 years and older.
