Mother’s Day Classic
Each year, Mother’s Day in Brisbane is celebrated with the Mother’s Day Classic – a family-friendly fun run. A sea of pink shirts flood Brisbane’s riverside as participants start their morning with a walk or run to raise funds for breast cancer research and to pay tribute to loved one’s affected by breast cancer.
There is a course for every fitness ability, starting with a 4km or 8km walk, or, for the more energetic, a 4km or 8km run. Similar events will be held all around Australia, so if you can’t make this one in Brisbane see where else you could participate.
