In the heart of Fortitude Valley is James Street, a bustling boulevard with a bright personality. Tucked in tight along its length is Palace James St Cinemas (formerly Palace Centro Cinemas).

A cheery atmosphere permeates the premises, bringing smiles all round to those who venture beyond the grand staircase at its entrance. Best of all, it’s completely kid-friendly!
“It was [when I was young] that I was taught a value system; the same one on which I have built Palace Cinemas – one that embraces innovation, inspiration, as well as the preservation of family, culture, heritage and leadership” – Antonio Zeccola, Founder and Owner of Palace Cinemas.
Fun Features

This is no ordinary movie theatre. At Palace James St Cinemas, you can practically feel the grandeur oozing out of the walls.
Ten epic cinemas lie within – three of which feature luxurious auditoria seating with plush recliners, while five luxurious cinemas feature handcrafted chairs from Spain. In these cinemas, the front two rows of chairs semi-recline, ensuring guests can enjoy their movie comfortably.

All ten cinemas are fully licensed, meaning adults have full access to a curated drinks menu before, during or after the movie, as well as a variety of scrumptious snacks. I’m sure many parents out there will appreciate that element.
Also, on top of smashing blockbusters, a range of quality Aussie and Indie films are showcased at Palace James St Cinemas. Not to mention the occasional world-renowned film festivals and special events that are hosted there.
Just to throw an extra jaw-dropper in the mix, this movie theatre is a willing host of children’s parties. Your child even has the unique option of screening their favourite Disney classic film on the big screen. Better yet, before or after the film, a celebratory feast of ice cream, lollies and all-things-sweet is provided for your lil trooper and their invitees.
