Sensory Friendly Sessions at the Queensland Museum
Queensland Museum will host a Sensory Friendly Session on Tuesday, 21 May 2019.
For this very special afternoon, the museum will turn the sound down and make accommodations to support visitors who prefer a quieter, sensory-friendly experience.
Entry to some of our ticketed exhibitions will be strictly limited to ensure visitors with sensory processing challenges can comfortably explore the museum, so guests are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.
There will also be a peaceful Chill Out Zone set up as a dedicated quiet space for use during the visit.

Entry is free to the Museum, though bookings are essential for the following exhibitions:
- SparkLab all tickets $10 – Buy tickets
- NASA – A Human Adventure all tickets $12 – Buy tickets

Companion cards are accepted on the day with a ticketed guest. Children under 5 are free.
