Parents and families on Brisbane’s northside now have a great new dining option located in a major shopping centre and one which caters to four-legged friends too. 

 

Newly opened Table 26 at Westfield Chermside is enticing families with a kid-friendly haven that has as a centrepiece an indoor/outdoor gated kids’ play area where parents can enjoy their meal while their children can safely explore and play in sight. 

 

Amit and Sneha Maharaj have sought to cater for families in Brisbane’s north with their popular Table 26 cafe experience after establishing successful cafes at West End, Westfield Carindale, and Indooroopilly. 

 

Table 26 is a hit for family celebrations, weekend and school holiday outings or just a place to catch up and enjoy excellent coffee, hot chocolates, and a large range of other beverages. 

 

 

The extensive menu has been designed with children in mind, with popular all-day kid-friendly choices including fried egg and bacon on toast, funny face pancakes, cheesy ham flat grill, or dino chicken nuggets with chips. Kids milkshakes, baby chino and juices are available too.

 

The menu is a celebration of flavours, offering a wide array of dishes to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. Whether you’re craving comfort classics or exploring bold new flavors, the culinary team has something special in store for your taste buds. Amit describes it as a fusion of Mexican, Asian and Indian cuisine options. 

 

Vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan and dairy-free options are available. 

 

Table 26 Westfield Chermside is also pet-friendly with a dedicated alfresco area where you can bring your four-legged friends and they can enjoy a meal from a dedicated dog menu.  

Aside from natural pet treats, the menu includes options like Licky Sticky Treaty (smashed banana & peanut butter on a licking mat), Wag Tail Pancakes (pancake with peanut butter, sprinkles and strawberries), or a Pooch Poke Bowl (chicken breast, sweet potato, corn and rice).

The popular T26 Frothy Paws beverage for dogs is made of warm frothed lactose free milk sprinkled with vitamin-packed liver bits.

In a first for a major shopping centre in Australia, Amit and Sneha have also opened 26 Paws dog grooming salon right next door catering to furry family members (up to 16kg). 26 Paws provides a convenient way for you to have your dog groomed while you run errands, shop, or dine at Westfield’s many retail and dining attractions.  

 

The Table 26 cafes at Westfield Carindale and Indooroopilly Shopping Centre also feature safe and gated kids’ play areas.
