Coming to QPAC for the first time ever, The 91-Storey Treehouse takes to the stage in this not-to-be-missed family stage show during the Christmas school holidays.
The 91-Storey Treehouse
Once again, Terry and Andy are being taken from the pages of the popular Andy Griffith and Terry Denton book and put onto the stage for an amazing production of The 91-Storey Treehouse. Adapted for the stage by Richard Tulloch, the show (and book) tells the story of Terry and Andy who live in an absolutely amazing treehouse. And it’s not just any old tree house – this treehouse now has 91 storeys! Itโs now more fantastically dangerous than ever, with a deserted desert island, a whirlpool, and a giant spider!
But Andy, Terry and Jill have no idea theyโre about to face their biggest challenge yet! Mr Big Nose has sent his grandchildren to the treehouse, and they donโt want to just sit quietly. Can Andy, Terry and Jill master this extreme babysitting challenge? What does mysterious fortune teller Madam Know-It-All really want? And will the Big Red Button really destroy the world?
In this amazing theatre production expect to see Mr Big Nose’s grandchildren arrive to stir up trouble in the treehouse! In what may well turn out to be Andy, Terry and Jill’s biggest challenge to date, they must babysit the crazy kids who will not sit still as well as work out what the fortune teller Madam Know-It-All really wants. Plus they are faced with a Big Red Button that may in fact destroy the world! You will have to see the play (if you haven’t already read the book) to find out if they survive the challenges and what the red button really does!
The show is a fun, laugh out loud comedy that is recommended for Brisbane Kids aged 6 years and over, fans of the Treehouse franchise and their parents.

All shows are on at the Playhouse, QPAC, Grey Street, South Bank. Performances are on the following days and times:

- Thursday 24 January @ 10am, 12pm & 3pm
- Friday 25 January @ 10am & 12pm
- Saturday 26 January @ 10am, 12pm & 3pm
- Sunday 27 January @ 10am & 12pm
The 91-Storey Treehouse is approximately 1 hour in duration and contains no interval.

- Premium Tickets $40 per person
- A Reserve Tickets $35 per person
- A Reserve Tickets $30 per person in a group booking of 4 or more
- A transaction fee of $7.20 applies per transaction
