On Anzac Day each year we remember all Australians who have served and died in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations. It is chance to pause and remember those who have served and sacrificed for our nation.
Below we have given you an overview of selected events throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas, though there are many more happening each year.

I can’t wait! This will be fantastic. I’d like to encourage foreigners to also attend and pay homage to their own military personnel (current and past). Even though it is obviously tailored towards the Australian and New Zealand military contributions, it is an event that can bring us all together, no matter one’s race, religion or creed. Big ups to the event organisers. We must preserve tradition wherever possible in this modern world of ours.

What about Brisbane West??
Brooke Powell
Hi Jim, the events are sorted by north Brisbane (north of the river) and south Brisbane (south of the river), so many events to the west of Brisbane will be included in south of the river and Ipswich. Hope this helps.
