Father’s Day Breakfast Buffet, A La Carte Dining and Putt Putt at Victoria Park
Victoria Park are set to host a Father’s Day like no other! The way to Dad’s heart is through his stomach, right? Spoil him with a mouth-watering breakfast buffet in Victoria Park’s Marquee. He can sit back and relax while soaking up the city skyline views as the kids enjoy the jumping castle and face painters.
If hearty food such as a sirloin, woodfired pizza or a burger is up Dad’s alley we recommend taking him to the Bistro for a feed! Located at the top of the precinct with views out to the city and beautiful garden surrounds it’s a top spot to unwind.
Plus after lunch you could always make it a fun day out for dad and challenge him to a game of putt putt, or show him how it’s done on the driving range. Y0u could try also out the arcade games and world class golf courses in the Golf Sim. Victoria Park is the perfect place for Father’s Day activities with plenty for the whole family to do. This will be popular so don’t forget to book!

Woodford Railway Heritage Train Rides, Woodford
Take Dad on a heritage train ride at Woodford Railway Station where the whole family can ride on the Heritage Railway using locomotives and carriages from the Australian Sugar mill railway systems of years past. A return trip takes approximately 20 minutes and there are BBQ facilities nearby to make a day of it and have a picnic.

Playback – Retro Games Mini-Imaginarium, Bribie Island
What Dad doesn’t love a bit of childhood nostalgia?! This exhibition at Bribie Island Seaside Museum features a free, interactive space full of old school arcade games. Take Dad on a walk down memory lane so he can share his fond memories playing the Atari or sitting at arcade games eating hot chips with the next generation. Test your skills and challenge each other at old school favourites like Pacman, Space Invaders, Galaga and more.

Brisbane Festival

Australia in Space – Earth and Beyond
A must-vist for all space-loving dads, at Australia in Space he can discover how Australia’s location and expertise gives a unique advantage in space. Moggill Sunday Farm Day
This delightful event sees the Heritage Hatchlings farm open their gates to visitors to explore the animal nursery, hold adorable chicks and ducklings, take a pony ride, play with the puppies, or sit back with a coffee, icecream or sausage sizzle in a relaxed, rural setting.
