Itโs Christmas Eve and Ebenezer Scrooge is spending his night like every other โ hunched over his coals, counting his fortune and cursing the happiness of others โ until a few unexpected visitors come knocking on his doorโฆ
Featuring live music, yule-tide carolling, innovative video design, lavish costumes and, of course, snow, A Christmas Carol is a large-scale, visual feast to set your spirits soaring!
A Family Christmas Tradition
A Christmas Carol is recommended for families with children aged 10 years and older, though parental discretion is always advised.
The 2025 production contains supernatural themes, haze, smoke, strobe effects and loud music.
A Christmas Carol Shows
A Christmas Carol is performing at the Playhouse Theatre, QPAC, Grey Street, South Bank from the 12- 24th December.
A Christmas Carol is 1 hour 30 minutes in duration and does not include an interval.
*The 2pm performance on Friday 20th December will be professionally signed by Auslan interpreters.
Ticket Prices
The price of tickets is $65-$75, depending on the category booked. Please note, a transaction fee of $7.50 applies per transaction.
