Belhaven Park is a neighbourhood playground with a fun take on the backyard treehouse. It is a picturesque park with concrete paths perfect for wheels, so bring your scooters and bikes.
Belhaven Park Playground
Belhaven Park will provide younger children with plenty of challenges to climb, balance, jump and explore.
The cubby house twin fort is a fabulous vantage point to keep a watchful eye on the rest of the playground. To further occupy little visitors there is a fire pole, climbing nets, climbing wall, balancing steps, in-ground trampolines and swings.
The discovery trail throughout the gardens gives stimulus for little creators and explorers to enjoy some nature play.
For the bigger kids there is a basketball half-court, two handball courts and some fitness equipment. The footpaths are great for bikes, scooters and provide easy pram access. There is lots of opened green space perfect for a ball game, kite of frisbee.
Unfortunately, there are no toilets as this is a neighbourhood park. These often come later, so if this is important to you, speak with your local Councillor.
Imagination Factor at Belhaven Park
Climb up into the cubby house to enjoy the view from above, then balance your way across the netted tunnel to the other fort. Plot your way around the gardens by following the stepping stones and pretend rocks.
Jump, dance and sing your heart out on the trampolines. This playground has a very natural and grounding vibe.
Accessibility at Belhaven Park
Belhaven Park is an unfenced playground with a large arched shade sail providing good shade protection most of the day over the equipment.
The playground itself is flat with footpaths leading into it, but the overall park has a slightly decline. Street parking is available close by.

While You Are in the Area
Less than 2km down the road is seriously cool Billubera Park. This awesome park features massive towers, bridges and slides, a smaller fort of the younger children, an obstacle course, swings, nature play, sports courts and more. Oh and it has a toilet!!
Another Yarrabilba Park with an obstacle course, big tower, slides and in-ground trampolines is the popular Buxton Park.
What We Thought of Belhaven Park
We started off with a picnic at one of the covered tables before jumping for ages on the in-ground trampolines. The steps, climbing walls and twin fort are fabulous for gross motor skill development. A great playground packed with plenty of options to keep little ones happily playing.
