Carols on the Lawn is a Christmas carols evening held at Rocks Riverside Park in inner Brisbane, celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ. A full orchestra and singers lead a program of carols, including Silent Night and Joy to the World.
The evening begins at 5pm with a barbecue dinner, live music, market stalls and free face painting. The carols service starts at 6:30pm.
Entry is free and includes a battery-operated candle and program. A sausage on bread costs $3, and drinks cost $2.
