Witton Community Open Day
The Witton Community Open Day will be held on Saturday, 31 August, from 9:30 am to 2 pm, offering a celebration of community and social enterprise. Attendees can look forward to a variety of delicious food, live music, and history tours, along with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained, including a bouncy castle, face painting, balloon twisting, and a magic show at 12:30 pm.
The event will also feature a social enterprise market, showcasing stalls from organisations such as Fruit2Work, Yoga on the Inside, Nundah, Sobah, and Hello Good World, among others. Visitors are invited to explore this newly renovated historic World War II site and discover all it has to offer.
The event is proudly sponsored by Brisbane City Council and the Westpac Foundation.
