This Winter QPAC is expected to explode in laughter when one of the greatest kids authors of all time presents a truly wonderful show for Brisbane Kids. Get ready for Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvellous Medicine! What starts as just another boring day for George quickly turns into a marvellous experiment of epic proportions! This is a show where you can expect lots of fun, mischief and laughter- perfect for Brisbane Kids who have read the book and those that will one day!
Those familiar with the story already know that on a good day, George can’t stand his Grandma. She complains all the time, she’s mean and she smells funny. On this particular day, Grandma is much more annoying than usual and George has had enough. “George – make me a cup of tea! George – rub my feet! George – stop growing!” Ugh. If you aren’t familiar with the Roald Dahl classic then be prepared for George to concoct a marvellous spell that actually works, and puts an end to her nagging BUT not in the way that George expects.
Fresh from a sold out season at the Sydney Opera House, and from the award-winning team behind the critically acclaimed Australian production of Roald Dahl’s Revolting Rhymes & Dirty Beasts,ย this stage adaptation from the wacky mind of the World’s No. 1 Storyteller and it is sure to be the hit of the winter for any fan of Georges Marvelous Medicine, or Roald Dahl in general, aged 6 years to 106 years!
