Moreton Bay Youth Art Awards 2026 – Celebrate the creativity of Moreton Bay’s young artists
The annual awards celebrate the creativity, skill and unique perspectives of school-aged artists who live in or attend school within the City of Moreton Bay.
Open to students from Prep to Year 12, the awards provide an opportunity to exhibit artwork in a supportive exhibition environment and share creative talents with the wider community.
Entries are now open for the 2026 Moreton Bay Youth Art Awards
Students can enter individually or as part of a collaborative school group in either two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D) categories. Accepted mediums include painting, drawing, photography, digital art, sculpture, ceramics and installation.
The Youth Art Awards exhibition will be held at Albany Creek Community Centre from 17 to 25 October 2026, showcasing the diverse talents of young artists from across the region.
Visitors will also be invited to vote for their favourite artwork in the People’s Choice Award.
Prize money and trophies are awarded across multiple year levels and categories, while winning collaborative school entries receive a scholarship to support future arts learning opportunities.
