Learn to skate at Skate Paradise

If you’re a beginner, then Skate Paradise’s Learn to Skate sessions are just for you! All ages are welcome and there’s no need to book – just come along and register on the day!

Skate Star Learn to Skate classes are part of the certified Skate Australia National Program, covering 3 star levels, which includes certificates and prizes for every ‘Star Level’ achieved. Star Classes are tested every 6 to 8 weeks. If you pass, you will receive a certificate and progress to the next level.

You can learn to skate like a pro at Skate Star Learn to Skate classes on Tuesday mornings (10am – 11am), Thursday afternoons (4pm – 5pm) or Saturday mornings (9am – 10am), guided by Skate Paradise’s expert coaches.

General skate sessions 

Skate Paradise’s ‘Fun Skate’ sessions run several times a week, providing the perfect opportunity to hone your skate skills. 

Fun Skate sessions are held throughout the school term on Wednesday mornings (9:30am – 11am), twice on Saturdays (10am – 11:30am and 1pm – 3pm) and on Sunday afternoons (1pm – 3pm).

School & public holidays

In addition to the weekly Fun Skate sessions during the school term, weekday sessions are held at Skate Paradise throughout the school holidays. Choose from half day sessions (10am – 12pm or 1pm – 3pm), or the All Day Skate (10am – 3pm).

‘Super Skate’ sessions are also held on public holidays (12pm – 3pm).

Night time skate

Head to Skate Paradise on a Friday and Saturday nights (7pm – 9:30pm), which includes a ‘dance spot’ session. These night-time events are great for teens, with entry being even better value on presentation of a valid high school ID.

Skate or blade hire

Bring your own skates or blades, or hire them at the rink. Long socks are required.

Discounted entry to Skate Paradise

Buy a Super Saver Card at Skate Paradise and enjoy either 5 sessions or 10 sessions (one card per person). This is the perfect way to keep the kids active throughout the school holidays, and could save you up to $40!

Alternatively, purchase a Family Pass to admit 4 to one skate session, or an All Day Family Pass to admit 4 to an all-day skate session in the school holidays (running weekdays 10am – 3pm).

Companion entry is free when accompanying a Companion Card holder.

Group booking discounts are also available.
